4 Walls (O.L.S.H. Gym)

(Joe D'Urso)
Very simply, O.L.S.H. is my old grammar school, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. We had this small gymnasium where everything went on: Mass, school assembly, choir class, basketball games, rainy day playgrounds, fundraising dinners, social dances, graduations, Confirmation and Communion sacraments... basically everything we did for those eight years was in those 4 Walls. And now some thirty years down the line the memories and friendships are still with me. Bonds. Ties...

In these 4 walls we were little boys
Little boys before men
We dreamed of the sea and of the moon
And maybe a Super Bowl win

And in these 4 walls there were little girls
But little girls stand no more
Strong willed woman, mom and wives
Guiding families through their lives

And in these 4 walls we've lost some brothers
Friends no longer here
So tonight let's remember their dreams, your dreams
That were born in these 4 walls

There are moments I sometimes remember
They flash across my mind
They make me smile and they make me laugh
I wish we could do it one more time

Yeah tonight is for reminiscing
Nothing wrong with the past
Dance with it for an evening
Take it back and make it last

And in these 4 walls we've lost some brothers
Friends no longer here
So tonight let's remember their dreams, your dreams, my dreams
In these 4 walls, in these 4 walls...
