I hope this update/email finds you well as we are enjoying summer-like weather here in the NJ/NY area. I am sitting in my dining room area while I type this up and it's around 10:30pm. I have the screen door open (dresses are waving and swaying) and the overhead fan is on and it feels like a summer night and not two weeks into autumn night! I know, I know, it will change on the stop of a dime as I am sure next week I will have the heat on to chase away the morning chill!

I am not going to spend too much time writing up paragraph after paragraph as I have a LOT of shows below to share as all those pandemic thoughts of "will I ever get busy again?" have been kicked to the curb once and for all. :)

I have to say BIG THANKS to everyone who has picked up a copy of "Thurman" at a live show or downloaded it from a streaming service. Myself and Stone Caravan are really proud of this record and look forward to performing these songs for a long time to come. Some of these songs will make it on to the NEW LIVE record that we'll be recording in February of '24 with a June of '24 release. We hope!

Thanks as well to everyone who came out to our summer shows after I returned home from Europe and the "specialty show" (Gordon Lightfoot Tribute) as that was a real blast to perform with Chris, Michelle and David. I had no idea what the real words were to "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" but now I know!

Lastly, sending out healing vibes to The Boss/Bruce Springsteen and hope he recovers fully and quickly as so many of us who get on stage owe a BIG amount to him. I saw him twice this summer (Munich and East Rutherford) and he always makes me feel good about being a smart 15 year old and hitching my wagon to a tremendous "horse"!

Keep our dear buddy Jesse Malin in your thoughts as well and if you can please support any of the funds set up to help with medical costs please do. Jesse has been there for so many people over the years and we pray and hope for his full recovery. P.M.A. all the way!
